Joshi City Weekend Update for December 17th, 2017

The holidays are upon us! Here are the updates made this week that didn’t appear on the front page and the plan for the upcoming weeks:

• Recommended Matches! I have added new matches to the Recommended Matches page. Remember that not all the matches I add are MOTYCs, my goal is to have a variety of quality matches for those that don’t have the time/effort to hunt down what to watch and hopefully discover new wrestlers they enjoy. The following match was added:
  • November 23rd, 2017 – Risa Sera vs. Maika Ozaki in Ice Ribbon
  • November 25th, 2017 – Mio Momono vs. Maruko Nagasaki in Marvelous
  • December 2nd, 2017 – Chihiro Hashimoto and Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Io Shirai and Meiko Satomura in Sendai Girls’
• Christmas Holiday! Just as a heads up, I will be out of town from December 21st through New Year’s Day, so there will be no weekend update next week nor will there be any updates during that stretch. I do still have a review or two to finish this week (including a review of Io Shirai’s new photobook), and once I return there will be several special articles posted as I am currently working on 2017 Year In Review articles. Currently planned are:
  • Top 25 Joshi Wrestlers of the Year
  • Top 10 Joshi Tag Teams of the Year
  • Top 10 Joshi Matches of the Year
  • Top Young Joshi Wrestlers
