Joshi City Update for June 24th, 2018

The following updates were made in the last week:

• Joshi City Shop Update! I added a handful of new Joshi cards to the Joshi City Shop, including some rare ones from Jd’ Star and a dual autograph featuring Minoru Tanaka and Yumi Fukawa. I also added autograph cards from Meiko Satomura, Konami, and Misaki Ohata.
• GAEA Japan Project Resumes! After a bit of a break, I am finally getting back into my GAEA Japan Project. The goal of the project is to review every released GAEA Japan event from its inception, as I think the promotion had a high impact on Joshi but isn’t talked about much online since the promotion went out of business in 2005. The page has every event reviewed so far, a history of the promotion, a roster, my current ranking for best GAEA Japan match, plus videos of my favorite GAEA Japan matches. • Recommended Matches! I have added new matches to the Recommended Matches page. Remember that not all the matches I add are MOTYCs, my goal is to have a variety of quality matches for those that don’t have the time/effort to hunt down what to watch and hopefully discover new wrestlers to enjoy. The following matches were added:
  • May 13th, 2018 – Miyako Matsumoto vs. Hamuko Hoshi in Ice Ribbon
  • June 11th, 2018 – Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Io Shirai vs. Meiko Satomura at Fortune Dream
  • June 16th, 2018 – Chihiro Hashimoto and Meiko Satomura vs. DASH Chisako and Io Shirai in Sendai Girls’
• Roster Changes! Just a few quick adjustments to current rosters:
  • Io Shirai (moved to Other Affiliations)
  • Xia Brookside (moved to Stardom Roster)
  • Ayako Hamada (moved to Freelancers)
