Stardom World Vol. 4 Photobook Review

Every year, Stardom releases a photobook as part of the Stardom World series, which is their premium and largest photobook. It not only features photos of the roster but interviews and other information about the wrestlers as well.

If you are going to only buy one Stardom photobook a year, this would likely be your best choice as it is the most complete while featuring far less of the type of pictures that may make some fans uncomfortable. It also focuses on their own roster with less Gaijin included than some of their other photobooks. Here are the wrestlers featured:

Most of the pictures focus on the wrestlers in their wrestling gear or casual attire, unlike Model Mode and Bikiniing which trends more towards lingerie and beachwear, respectively. With over 120 pages, even with the interviews and written details there is still plenty of room for pictures, with every wrestler having multiple full-sized features. For a fan that doesn’t speak Japanese, the photobook may lose some appeal as it is a combination information/photobook, but for its reasonable price it doesn’t hinder the photobook from providing plenty of value.
