Since the birth of Puroresu, one of the major storylines that has always persisted is foreigners (often called “Gaijin”) traveling to Japan and battling the native stars. While not all wrestling promotions in the current era do this regularly, it is still a somewhat common practice, particularly in Stardom. Even though many foreign wrestlers may only participate in a tour or two and then never visit Japan again, I am going to try to keep a running list with some details on the “Gaijin Invaders” that participate in Joshi promotions from 2017 onward. Any foreign wrestler that is under a long term contract with a Joshi promotion will not be included here as they will be under that promotion’s page. This list will continually be updated as new wrestlers visit Japan, and as I slowly add gaijin wrestlers from previous years as well.
