Joshi City Update for October 1st, 2018

  
As usual, lots to go over! The follow updates to the website were made in the last few weeks:

• Joshi City Shop Updates! I still have one signed Io Shirai Photobook available (that comes with a piece of fabric from the photo shoot) at the Joshi City Shop, and I still have signed Kagetsu cards as well. The Kagetsu card set is sold out in Japan so once I run out of the current stock, that’s probably it. I will have another incredibly rare Io Shirai card posted hopefully on Friday so keep an eye out for that, I posted a picture of it on my Instagram account. Speaking of which, in case you didn’t hear….
• Joshi City is on Instagram! While I may be on Twitter slightly less, I have a new Instagram account @JoshiCity! I will be posting various Joshi related content, including pictures from the current scene as well as the past. I’ll also be posting there any fun Joshi merchandise I pick up both for the shop and for my personal collection. If you are a shop regular and already on Instagram, you may want to give a Follow as I’ll post there any big items I get before I put them in the shop.
• Wrestler Profile Updates! Not a whole lot going on since the last update, however I have added one new profile and updated the Stardom Roster to match the roster on their website (so I removed two wrestlers and added two wrestlers). I know the profiles themselves still need updating, Stardom is first on my “to do” list for a make-over once I have a free moment. Here are the changes:
  • Konami (moved from Other Affiliation to Stardom)
  • Toni Storm (moved from Stardom to Gaijin Invaders)
  • Utami Hayashishita (added to Stardom Roster)
  • Xia Brookside (moved from Stardom to Gaijin Invaders)
• Recommended Matches! I have added lots of new matches to the Recommended Matches page. Remember that not all the matches I add are MOTYCs, my goal is to have a variety of quality matches for those that don’t have the time/effort to hunt down what to watch and hopefully discover new wrestlers to enjoy. The following matches were added:
  • July 16th, 2018 – Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Cassandra Miyagi in Sendai Girls’
  • August 11th, 2018 – Hanako Nakamori vs. Manami Katsu in PURE-J
  • September 5th, 2018 – Rina Yamashita and Yoshiko vs. Arisa Nakajima and Ayame Sasamura in SEAdLINNNG
  • September 17th, 2018 – Hikaru Shida vs. Aja Kong in OZ Academy
  • September 24th, 2018 – Mayu Iwatani vs. Utami Hayashishita in Stardom (Samurai TV Version)
